What kind of camera should I be looking for for professional digital picture taking? |
I have an interest in amateur photography. I'm looking for a camera similar to what professionals use in photo studios. Do you know what type or brand of camera is used? What about a good photo pc program? I have spent much time looking into digital cameras, because I love them. I don't really have the money I would like to spend in photography, but I would recommend looking into a higher end Canon DSLR. The digital-SLR is a camera that has removable lenses and upgradable flashes, a necesity if you plan on doing photography proffesionally. You also need to visit dpreview.com where you can search for a camera by specs, brand, price, whatever. I went on there website and learned some new things about different specs and found exactly what I could afford for the specs I wanted. I would also recommend getting a lens for your new D-SLR that has image stabilization, which helps alot when zoomed in to any degree. Canon rebel XTi - 1200 with image stabilization Canon Mark II EOS 1D - 3500 Canon EOS 1DS - 7500 They have many in all price ranges and dpreview.com is the place to go Oh and 4 Megapixels is a joke. I thought the same thing, and my 6 megapixel camera could use a few more when I blow up my prints Source(s): dpreview.com check out http://www.dpreview.com/ starting out, Id go with something within your budget and learn all the features and settings. Id go with something about 4 megapixals. Theres NO REASON FOR YOU TO GET ANYTHING HIGHER. 1. Most PC printers cant print above 1500dpi and above 11x17 paper. Since most of your prints will be letter size or smaller, the 4 mega pixal is more than enough. When you have more money and resources to get a roll fed printer then you can upgrade. IMO of course.... |
