Does this Digital camera sound okay? |
im 15, and i want a new digital camera cause mines gay and old. I cant be bothered spending like $400 on a camera, since im only a teenager and it doesnt have to be the best, just needs atleast a 2.5inch screen. i found this random "Megxon" camera on trademe (like americas ebay) and was just wondering if the specs sound okay (ill post the link) and also, since it is 12mp, does that mean the webcam mode will be pretty good? http://www.trademe.co.nz/electronics-pho... This is a no name brand...so don't expect to get a decent camera. It has no optical zoom...only digital zoom. Your photo quality will be poor, especially if you zoom in. It says it has 12MP...but this is a very misleading claim, because that's only by interpolation...it really only has 3.1 megapixels. It has a poor quality movie mode (320x240 at 15 fps). For better quality movies you want 640x480 at 30fps. It has no mic. or speaker...so you cannot record audio with your movies. It has a constant aperture of F3.0 And it uses AAA size batteries...ugghhh. Look, you don't have to spend $400 for a good camera...You can get a reasonable one for half that price. But, if this camera is dirt cheap...then go ahead and buy it...but don't say I didn't warn you. It might be ok as a web cam, but you would need to buy a mic. good luck... It has digital zoom, but when you use digital zoom, it degrades the picture quality. I would highly recommend getting something with at least 3x optical zoom, even if you get less megapixels (which isnt even important). And yeh, you might get a good picture, but remember it may not be 12mp in webcam mode. Also, that quality is going to be greatly downgraded when using it over the internet. very ordinary (sexuallity not sure of) camera, are you printing posters? if not drop some mega pix and get some optical zoom, trademe you must be NZer eh.........go hard I would go with a major brand canon, sony, etc. my suggestion go to yahoo shopping digital cameras digital camera GUIDE be sure to check titles on the left side the guide should answer your questions I sympathize with you. There's nothing worse than a gay camera. |
