What is the best digital camera in the market today, that is ideal for professional photography? |
What is the best digital camera in the market today, that is ideal for professional photography? There is no best, cameras are just tools, it all depends on the person taking the shots. I've seen amazing shots from a professional with a cheap, simple, point and shoot camera. And vice versa. The solution is to practice practice practice. Now what do most professionals use? For digital I would agree with the second answer, a Canon 1DS Mark II, 16.7 mp.Canon 1DS Mark ll. The street price is $6,900. Then add a 17-40mm L and a 70-200 L or whatever lenses you think you'll need, some memory cards an be prepared to drop another $3000. Just curious or are you shopping? If shopping, what's your budget? It depends on what you plan on what you're wanting to photograph. I happen to be partial to Canon. I believe their 30D model is ideal for most professional applications today. You will receive many different answers though because everyone works with different cameras. I'm a photographer. It all depends what your needs are, but either the Canon 30D or Nikon D200 would likely meet most of your needs. They're solid performers at reasonable prices. You can get either with at least one small zoom lens for under $2K. But there are 'pro' cameras from both mfg's that cost a lot more. If you need to go 'full frame' (and have a collection of canon lenses that you want to re-use). You might consider the 5D. Canon is the leading drand!! its used all over the world! see the recent world cup!! they all have white lenses! thats only from canon!! for highest quality! the Canon 1Ds Mark II has the 16.7 MP full from sensor!! Or Canon 1D Mark II N for fast 8.2 MP high speed sport photography and everything else! for half the price! 8.5FPS!! thats is SOO FAST!!! http://www.dpreview.com/news/0508/050822... |
