What is the best digital camera for a 12 year old girl who LOVES photography?? |
no more than $500, please. stylish, some what small, easy to handle, etc. thanks! Stylish? Are you looking to shoot photos or pose for them? It really all depends on how much you "love" photography. If you want to buy a camera that you can take with you wherever you go, then you obviously don't have to spend $500. If you have $500 to spend, I'd seriously encourage you to shop around and buy a nice, used camera system that you can expand - specifically, a single lens reflex with interchangable lenses. There are digital SLRs out there right now that, a few years ago, were industry standards for professional photographers ... and now you can own one for a song! Whatever you decide to do, stick with Nikon or Canon. They are dependable and most of their older gear is compatible with their newer gear. canon power shot 460 Go to Walmart and get anything that has at least 2 megapixels per shot, removable data cards and runs on a couple AA batteries. Make sure you buy at least one extra data card and a card reader to plug into the computer. You will still come out WAY under $500.00 Oh, my husband has a Kodak, but I can't remember the model number. It takes GREAT shots and we paid almost 300 for it. If she loves taking pics, it would be awesome for her. OMG.. IM THIRTEEN AND LOVE PHOTOGRAPHY ALSO! -- I have a very small digital cam that i used when i first started taking pictures.. I still use it and its called a 5.1 Megapixel Cybershot Sony Digital Camera.. This camera is very good especially with close-ups.. it also zooms in very far and takes adequit pictures and vids...I need to upgrade to a new one though.. i'll give u a star and keep a watch on this Q b/c i totally need a new cam lol ((It came out to be just a little over 200 dollars)) check out argus5.0 mega with zoom under 200$ simple to operate. How about a Kodak Easy Share? They are very easy to use and the new one has like 3 mp or something...and it looks better. But I don't know how much it costs. There's also a little digital camera at Walgreens. It costs like $100 or something. Good luck :) |
