Printing Digital Artwork? |
I am an artist and work with a variety of tools and mediums. Lately I have been doing digital photography and then manipulating the colors, contrast and resolutions. My computer software only allows me to save an image up to 1200 DPI, but when I print out the jpeg or Tiff, the image still looks distorted or fuzzy around the edges. Is there any software out there that lets you save the file at a higher rez? Do I just need a better printer or should I just take the saved artwork files to a local printer and let them do the job despite the fact that it will be super $$$$ ? Try a service like snapfish. Their printing prices are reasonable (though shipping is high). I imagine you would get better results with them than printing it on your own. Yes, there are all kinds of ways to do this, the local printer is one of them because they have bigger paper and some canvas, yu have to stretch it yourself tho. http://www.expressphoto.com.au is the cheapest online printing place i have come across and they do a great job with the quality you get |
