Digital camera emergency!!!!!!? |
I was with a friend and she was going through the settings on my digital camera. She asked what the format button did. I didn't know, so she said "let's find out" and pressed it! It turns out that it deletes EVERYTHING from the memory card. The pictures were for my digital photography class, and if I don't get them back, I'm going to fail! Please help! I agree with the first two posters. Lesson learned: when you have something valuable in your camera, computer, car or whatever, don't just let people play with the buttons to see what happens. Also, always back up important data. go to yahoo search type photo rescue Dowload this and it will recover your files for you. Dont do anything with the camera until you've done this. http://www.download.com/softperfect-file... Uhhh, hate to tell you this, but they are gone. Format doesn't just erase the pics, it prepares the media for recording. It's possible that you will be able to get them back. Try one of the products taht the other folks mentioned, and do NOTHING with that memory card until you try recovering them. |
