Whats a good digital camera to buy right now? i enjoy photography but am not a serious photographer? I personally use Nikon camera for both my personal and professional use, but other brands are great too. I use the Nikon D-50 for my professional projects and I love it. The Cool-Pix by Nikon is great for casual, non-professional use. I would suggest that you visit a store and check out different brands. I would stick with Canon, Nikon, Olympus or Kodak because these are known names in the industry but they have been in the digital game for a while. Olympus is the baby of the group, I believe. I had a Polaroid and was not happy with it. The "computer" brands like Sony and others are pretty good, but I would stick with the ones mentioned above. It is difficult to refer a particular model to you because I do not know what features are important to you. Do a little research and see what you want the camera to do then visit the store and actually hold the cameras in you hand to get the feel of them. Then make your decision.
