I need advice on selling my photography (digital). Anyone know any good sites? |
My work is mainly natural history.......but will turn my hand to most things. I use a Canon EOS 10D.....Thank you xxx Apparently some people are morons.. You won't get into National Geographic with just this. They have a huge list of photographers on their pay-roll that they use, that they've been using for years. Now, let me offer you some good advise. Check out different stock photo companies. Sign up for one or two of them and use them. Enter all your images as the more you have, the more chance someone will buy your image. Companies like Istockphoto Bigstockphoto Dreamstime Getty Images Are pretty good (so I've been told). Another options is to build your own gallery online and advertise that. Try selling through your own site this way there aren't any additional fees and you can sell at prices you want. National Geographic, or punchstock. Try National Geografic Have you considered assembling a portfolio of your best work and looking for a position as a photographer? It might be easier. you can go and sell it on ebay and they will sell your camera for you and then see what other kind of cameras you just might like on their to. good luck with that search. ebay is they best place to sell and trade and bye things off of them. |
