DIGITAL CAMERA/photography? |
I have this SONY CYBERSHOT DSC-S500 and sometimes the image as round spots. Some digital cameras/cameras have that round spot effect...which makes the person looks really fat. I really hate it. I want to know how can you TELL if the camera does not have the ROUND EFFECT. I really hate my camera. Round spot effect.... do you mean barrel distortion? All point and shoot cameras or all zoom lenses for that matter have barrel distoration at wide angles, some less than others. Try out Canon, I own them and they are great little cameras. SD600 is only $250 and takes great imagines. Actually, HP makes a digital camera that has a feature to "slim-down" a person! Unfortunately, HP isn't the best camera out there, so I wouldn't recommend buying one. The distortion you are having may be caused by shooting up too close. Most portrait photographers shoot from further back using a telephoto lens to provide a better perspective and get rid of the effect you are getting. Try backing up a little and then zooming in some instead of being so close. Bob K www.CameraRepairs.com |
