Photography photos (pics included)?

Okay i decided to model for my friend photography coursework.
The theme was Gothic fashion, what do you think of these pictures?
Please be honest, im not a real model or anything so we didnt expect wonders.
Thanks.

Considering that you do not have been in front of a camera with many different photographers and it is obvious that your friend was using some rule that said, "never have the model look into the lens" they look quite good.

You can never expect to look like a pro or shoot like a pro in the beginning.

That said, as your friend continues through school and asks you to model for them, take a look at some of the poses and "looks" that other models have on sites like Model Mayhem and One Model Place. Your friend should too.

Since your friend as manipulated the shots, it is hard to tell if they have a good eye for light and composition ... that can only be determined with the image before someone "Photoshops" it.

I would like to see a "gothic" shot to include all the traditional Gothe look, clothing and makeup. A MUA would have been a good addition to your shoot

im not a sure why you are putting your face at that angle. is it because you do not have a strong jaw? well if that is the case...youve failed at trying to make it go unnoticed.

in the second pic it looks like you are humping the pole.

when i think of gothic...i think trying to intimidate. im not intimidated by these images. maybe, if they are re-shot, look at the camera and be strong, have seemingly unbreakable confidence.

Get some more movement (wind) into the shot. Tilt your head back and look below the camera lense - intense, and try shooting in sepia or b&w.

try some nice and steady places have a different look it stead !!!!!!!

there pretty good!!

they are pretty cool
