Selling photography? |
ok well i have been taking photography for about 2 years now and i love taking pictures of wildlife and nature. I used a Canon Digital Rebel with a 28-135mm lens. What is the best way to sell my photography, i am trying to make a little cash on the side. PLEASE HELP! Try deviantART, maybe? There's an option to allow you to sell your work as prints, so you could get buyers that way, if you're good and all. 1st try your local paper - its its a small city (under 80,000) they often NEED local photographers to work at $10 - $25 per photo. This will give you experience, contacts and exposure. Also, high school "sports" events can be a good on speculation shoot (just have to upload / then hook up with a PayPal account. - Local papers/magazines like high school sports photos of their "winning team" - Good Luck - Its a fun business to be in.. Maybe deviantArt? The website is www.deviantart.com. In order to sell your prints, you have to get an account (it's for free)... and when you submit your deviation, it allows you to sell it... I would try selling a few of your best photos at local fairs, festivals, etc. probabley ebay.com is your best bet ppl well buy anything =]] |
