Everything I need to know about cameras and photography?

Can someone please tell me things I need to know about cameras and photography for a beginner. Thank you so much.

Join a club or go on a beginners course. It's too general a question without a lot more detail from you.

Exactly. There is so much to photography, its a combined science/art. I'd advise starting with some basic photography books from the library and just practicing on specific techniques and work from there.
