Creative ideas for a photography studio to earn money on the side? |
My studio is new and it's been slow the past month and I am needing to earn some money on the side while waiting for business to pick up. I've picked my brain and have a few ideas but am tired lol. If anyone has any ideas for ways for my studio to earn money on the side (it's a very small studio and only me and two part time employees) please let me know. I am looking for ways to offer sessions (other than sales as I have done that), or contests that could work, ways to find places needing fashion pictures done and etc. The person with the most creative and best ideas will win the points. Thank you in advance to everyone! Run a fund raising event. For instance, every family who books for a particular day a percent goes to such and such charity. Get the charity to help get bookings. |

Hello... I have an in-home studio...which my clients love..they feel more comfortable if they are doing a studio shoot (plus no extra rent)...but I also do plenty of on location shoots and weddi... I travel all over the world. It is not just one job, the assignments are generated by publications and based upon their experience with me on previous shoots or recommendations from photo editors ... I don't know how good they are but there are plenty to choose from listed here - ... We were offered the opportunity to photograph nude models, but it was not a requirement for the course at community college level. ...I'd recommend Brook's as well if you know FOR SURE that you are interested in photography.
