Which slr camera is the best for beginner photography and takes photos instantly?

i love taking photos but I'm sick of missing my subject because my camera takes a few seconds to take. i want a good camera to get into photography that takes the picture as soon as i press the button!

Nikon D40x, Its user friendly and you can take multiple shots (just like the papparazzi) I love mine and there is no delay.
I researched extensively before I bought it and it kept coming up top in reviews for ease of use and best for beginners. Takes awesome shots.

Every digital slr (DSLR) snaps the photo just milliseconds after you press the button. That's why professionals (and photo-enthusiast parents) use DSLR's to record sports, children, and other quick moving subjects.

A DSLR like a Nikon D40, D60, or Canon XS,XSi will be easy to use and help capture the memories that would have gotten away.

I bought the Nikon D40 last year and it is wonderful. There is a slight delay when turning on but then you can snap away just like a conventional SLR. I take lots of photo's of the dogs and the response is brilliant. I've got some great shots of the other dog (not the one in the picture) shaking after swimming - took about six in succession. They have the droplets frozen in mid air.

You get a little poor image quality if you try to enlarge past A4 but hey who wants prints that big?
