How do I get a Photography Licence?? |
Im new to all this and I dont know if I have to have a licence to do Ok I've seen that people call it business and photography but thanks for correting me. So where and how do I get it? You need a license to take pictures? Why? Does the government require it? You do not need a license to be a photographer in the United States. You will however need a sales tax number in most states. There may be other licenses depending on what state your in or whether you work from how or rent a studio someplace. Any licences you do need are just for business tax purposes not for being a photographer. Check with your state or local tax office to see what is required to run a service business. In some jurisdictions, you may need a business license. Otherwise, I've never heard of a photography license. Never heard of one. The hardest part is finding client猫le! Best way to get that is with a good portfolio, maybe a website so they can see all your work. No license required for that! |
