Photography is a physical art form requiring a camera. The teachers have to teach by showing. Yes, you will learn all the technical data from online data that is posted by the teachers, but...

They have to teach by showing and you learn by doing and them correcting you...

Go to a University or Community college and take photography courses.

If you're talking about college classes online I can't help you but Betterphoto.com has courses and a lot of free features outside of the actual classes too. Online classes are a bit more complicated since they're not hands on but you can still learn a lot from people you wouldn't be able to otherwise so it's your call.
