ok i am gonna be straight up honest with you!
i am 22 years old!
i really don't read magazine....or newspapers..but when i am in an english class..i just love to write! and so with that i want to become a journalist...but everyone in my family says that its a very tough job and that chances are i probably won't make it due to the lack of reading i do...especially the fact that i hate politics! so i would never want to write for like new york times or something.....
i live in a very small town and well....we don't have smart teachers...i admit i am not all that smart either!
i just can't seem to find a career that i want to do...all i think about is being a journalist,
and well i would love for write to rolling stone, AMP, etc.
on the other hand i would also love to be a photographer, an editor, even a music major of some sort!
how can one become successful..what do i need to do???
is there hope for me? what is the salary rate for these types of jobs..?? and how do i get started!
would all this fall under communications!
I AM SO STUCK PLEASE HELP! hey there!!! even i'm 22 n i'm doin my post graduation in 'journalism and mass communication'....u sound more like me...even i don't read newspapers or magazines for that matter....but i watch news n read some articles related to my subjects at times....itz not that hard to do...u can become a journalist...don't get confused just stay focused n do wat u love to do!!!
