Christmas is coming and I have no clue?

what to get my boyfriend for Christmas. He has expensive taste, which I can't afford, and he has few bills and few others to buy gifts for. I on the other hand have a lot more bills and a large family to buy gifts for. This equals out to he gets me a kick-*** gift and I get him something he didn't really want. *sigh* I know for a fact he wants a PS3 or a really good digital camera (he's a photographer so I wouldn't be able to skimp). Any suggestions on things that might come close? I know he'd be happy with anything I got him but I would like to get him something I know he'll love.

Get creative - think outside the box! (Plus, if he's a guy worth having, he already knows you can't afford to spend what he can, and doesn't care). Some ideas: since he's a photographer, purchase an inexpensive print by a well-known photographer whose work he admires - Ansel Adams b/w, or Richard Avedon, or his favorite nature photographer. Take that to a frame-it-yourself place.......
If he likes to do portraits - go to a Discount store and buy an assortment of different shapes and sizes of magnetic photo frames; he can stick up his "favorites" on the frig, and change them out as often as he likes. These would make a nice "stocking stuffer," too, if you opt for my next suggestion:
What I do for older people who don't need more clutter, or in situations like yours, where the gift exchangers aren't "equal" in resources: Donate $$ to his favorite charity, in his name - they'll send an acknowledgement card to him but without the amount of the gift specified.
Just don't lose sight of the SPIRIT of Christmas - be joyful!

look on ebay

Marriage. LOL : }

give him some ***

Is your boyfriend romantic? Write him a heart felt love letter. Don't feel obligated to overspend just because he has more money and fewer gift-giving "obligations" (a terrible word when being used in tandem with "gift"). He probably doesn't want you to feel that way.

if hes into electronics, get him a gift card to best buy or some other electronics place he likes to shop at, that way he can pick what he wants or use the gift card to help him pay for something expensive.

if u cant get him a ps3 or or a digital camera i think u shud ask him his hobbys what ever he likes get him something close if he likes fishing a rod football a favourite team maybe a strip maybe or get him ssomething he may like wrestling get him something to do with that :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Give him a book of coupons....you decide what they are for....

A saturday in bed....doing xyz to you
A meal at (insert restaurant here)
A home made meal with sensual backrub, etc.

You get the idea. It doesn't cost you anything except some time and creativity and you can get him all reved up thinking about all the luscious things you are going to do with him based on your coupons.

If he is a photographer you could get him a cool digital frame I think those things are awesome, but he might not be the type of guy that likes those kind of things, but if he is a photographer I just thought he might.

I would make a scrapbook of all of your times together. You can put pictures, song lyrics, poems etc. If he is a photographer I think he would appreciate this. Gifts from the heart always mean more.

Save up the cash for a ps3, they're much cheaper now... and only if you REALLY care about this guy!!!! I've made that mistake of spending money on a**holes! It's only like $399- now for a ps3, maybe you could finance it from best buy or circuit city, they have those no interest financing...so you could make payments?

hey look not to be rude or offensive in any way but just get him something little or cute chicks arent supposed to by dudes this its just .... weird lol so dont worry he'll like watever you buy him

Red hat, White Beard, Fat tummy, reindeer, sleigh bells, snowmen big enough clue?

how about a great photo album or a great pic of yourself ?

Give him a hand made card that you created from the heart. If he truely loves you, that will be his favorite Christmas gifts!
Merry Christmas to you both :)

don't spend what you cant afford, if he loves you then he should understand, make him something home made, or do a "coupon book of love" with massages, baths together, fun stuff like that, or bake him a bunch of stuff make him a goodie tin or basket, love doesn't equal an expensive gift!! Christmas is not about that stuff anyway, remind him of that too!!

i like the digital photo frame idea..ive bought one for someone for xmas and tested it out to make sure it worked and its so cool! i got mind for 35 quid from argos!

Don't get him a camera, but you can get him 'camera equipment' ... a nice 'stuff bag' to hold things like a tripod or two, extra lenses, etc... a tripod ... a new lens for his camera he doesn't have ....
If you can't afford the PS3 you can get him clothes that show that passion (especially if you know what games he likes best) ... get him tee shirts for his 'top three' games, perhaps.
Use your head and you'll find great things that may not be 'expensive' but will show him HOW MUCH YOU LOVE HIM. That will be his 'favorite' gift of all.
