I forgot my windows vista password ! What do I do?!?! :(?

I am so sadd. I have so many pictures of family and friends, im a photographer. and I run thw newspaper for my community, what do I DO!!!!??!?! Please help, and I only have one account on my vista computer =[

If you used the administrator account then you are out of luck. You'll have to reinstall Windows Vista. There is no recovery for lost password if your on the administrator account. If you were on any other account, then you can log into administrator and change the password.

Did you try safe mode?

Oh I thought of another way however this won't let me answer twice so I had to change ID"s . If this works for you, vote the other demon please. LOL!

You can take your hard drive out and install it as a secondary drive on another computer that has administrative privileges. Then reset your password and reinstall it onto your computer. That will work and save all your previous data.

Go to Best Buy and have Geek Squad fix it for you. They charge about $30.
