What do i do Next?

Everyone is so very helpful on here and i really need some advice. My brain is starting to get overwhelmed. Basically i am not sure what to do next?
So far i have done the following:
Got a dress
Booked the Hall (inculdes caterer, and alcohol)
Booked the Church (still need a musician )
Booked the DJ
Booked the Photographer
Bridesmaid dresses are picked out and only two more BM have to pay before the dresses can be ordered.
We have an officiant.
Ok thats what i have now these are whats left that i cant decide on what to do next?
Cake
Limo
Invitations(cant decide whether i want to do them myself, or go with a friend of the family that can order them for me)
Musician for the ceremony
Still need to decide on tuxedos(i think i still have time to do this, just not sure how far in advance i should start looking?)

I know that this doesnt seem like a really big deal, its just i am a stickler on getting things done on time, at the right time and i can be impatient, which is no ones fault but

mine. I just think i need a little advice as to how everyone else has done it, and what you think i should do next.
I really appreciate everyones help. All who have answered any of my pervious questions have been a great help to me!
Thanks again.

-Guest list. You must get on gear on this one. Split how many invites your family and his family would have. Have an X amount of time to get your list returned to you.

-Save the dates. You are 9 months out and if you are sending them, this is the appropriate time to send them.

-Invites. Order some samples. Try printing them on your printer and see how it goes.

-Tuxes. Let your man tackle this task.

-Florist. Shop around now so you know that you are getting the best for your money.

-Musicians. Craiglist, white pages, or local college.

-Cake. If you are having an elaborate cake, you need to book your baker now so you can assure that your date will be open. Busy wedding bakeries normally book 1 year to 6 months in advance. Go on a tasting now,.

You still have some time, but you can start to look into:

Wedding party gifts, shoes, jewelry,
Gown and veil,
hair style and beauty salon appointments,
Gifts for your groom and in-laws,
Decorations for the church and pew bows,
Programs,
Favors
Centerpieces

Good luck

Omg, you're are about where I'm at in the planning and our wedding is in May. Make me feel like a slacker, why don't you? :)

I'm following the knot's checklist, and I'm only behind on ordering invitations, which are picked out, I just haven't had time to order them. It sounds like you should also start looking for a florist at this point in time.

Work on the Florist next. It will take a you a little while because there are a few steps: bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, etc.). That's another big one that I don't see on your list.

Don't forget the flowers and bouquets!
Oh and don't forget that this day is about you - not other people, as difficult as it may seem try not to stress about it too much...all that matters is that you are marrying the person who you love and want to spend the rest of your life with, everything else 'will be alright on the night' so they say!
All the best x

Only thing I don't see is flowers. Try to start looking around for bouquets and whatever other flowers you may want to have in the church or reception areas.
What about your favors, have you started thinking about your favors yet.
Also think about the gifts you may want to possibly get for your bridal party.
Hope some of this helps.

book the limo and musician soon since they are in limited supply and October is popular for weddings.. set a timeline for yourself of when you want everything else done by..

I wouldn't look at tuxes until the BM dresses are ordered and you know what you are getting but definitely no later than feb/march b/c prom season rolls into spring weddings and the tux shops will be busy..

schedule an appt for after the holidays to taste test for cakes and order your invites or invite supplies right after that. don't buy your postage too far in advance just in case they raise it again.

You've done more then I have and my wedding is in February! So since you have so much longer, I would look at some smaller details first. Pick out your decorations and flowers. Go ahead and book the musician and the limo because sometimes they get booked pretty far ahead. Invitations are hard to do, Id suggest having them ordered or having someone make them for you. Then also when you have the made/ordered think if you want to have programs, place cards, tags for your favors and order them all together. If you have younger boys in your wedding wait until the last minute you can force yourself to wait to get tuxes because boys grow...FAST! Set up a cake tasting sometime next year around march or April pick your style and flavor of cake. Get everything done about a month ahead of time so then you can check and double check everything so you don't have to worry when you day is only a week away. Congratulations and good luck!

Hi and congratulations!

You have A LOT done. Why don't you sit back....enjoy the holidays...and resume in the new year. You have plenty of time and you have all of the "big things" accomplished.

Start in the new year with the remaining things. Good luck!
