Is there nothing that can be done for this woman?

I am not a fan of Britney Spears but for some reason, maybe as a mother, I am really concerned about her. I just saw a video of her on x17online where she is now speaking with a British accent and it is not as a joke... she is totally serious, which means she is obviously ill. Is there really nothing her parents or family can do? What does it take to have someone commited. She needs help. A while ago I would have agreed that she was just spoiled, used to getting her way, thinking her money would get her whatever she wanted, but after seeing this I think she is really sick. And this trashy guy photographer is taking advantage of it all... that is sick too!!!

I know someone who is bipolar and thank God she has a family that helps her when she needs it. She just got out of the hospital recently and with her meds she is a normal caring mother but without them she gets really weird. She thinks that she is the author of books and tries to copyright them on the internet, etc. It is a serious disease that is fairly easy to take care of, but you have to have people around you who see the warning signs and get you help..She doesn't seem to have that.

Whether or not your a fan of her music...we should still hold some respect for her...she's a human being living through a life and a disease that most of us only read about.

Have we forgotten that she's got two babies? Two sons that are going to need their Mother as they grow older? Britney Spears has a serious disease with an outcome that looks bleak if she doesn't receive some help. The tragedy is that I don't think she will get help...I'm sure in her eyes...there is no problem, that we're the problem...everyone is out to get her.

I'll root for her to get better! Not because she was a famous celebrity but because she's a human being with two children who need her and because hoping that she'll seek help is the only thing we can do.

i don't want to see her kill herself like so many other bipolar celebrities. anna nicole smith went under. the media does not back off, just cares about selling magazine covers and higher news ratings, its a shame. nobody is caring about britney spears. just about if she looks good, and if she is singing. no one cares about her inside or wellbeing. its a shame, and its rough to be a celebrity. people use and abuse celebrities, and take their kindness for weakness. they find out the people who really care about them, because many celebrities have all this money, and materialized possessions thrown to them, instant fame, and they cave under. i hope she doesn't commit suicide. i too thought she might, just because of all of the pressure she is under. it really sucks.

i hope some people like social workers/psychologists come in. give her a hug. kiss her. tell her she is wonderful. she doesn't have to make herself a sexual object. the media needs to back off. they infuriate her already. they make her victimize herself.

She's obviously gonna hit rock bottom any day now and then finally the family will have control over what can be done with her...as long as the doctors keep telling her she's fine and releasing her, they have no way to intervene. I hate to see it but that's the hell of hollywood i guess :o)

I've felt bad for her since day one of the media being in her face. Not because I thought she was sick, just because no one deserves that. I'm definately not a fan though, never liked her music, though for some strange reason her last couple singles have grown on me... idk y. I think if she is sick, it's something that she doesn't realize, and that's the hardest to treat. I don't really know what happened w/ that Dr.Phil visit thing. Maybe he's trying to help..?

I feel real bad for britney too. She does need mental help. But I dont think shes going to make it through the year. Sadly. My insticnt tells me that very soon she will end her life if she doesnt get medication. I just dont see her making this big comeback like everyone is hoping. Every morning I read the paper just waiting to see the breaking news that britney commited suicide. I feel her pain and its deep and dark. Its makes me cry. I just hope that she doesnt take her boys with her when she does end it. I really dont think she has much longer and i tend to be very intuitive.

I know what it's like being bipolar, and it's a struggle, even if you make a million dollars a month. The worst part is most people don't understand what you're going through and judge you.

I am not a fan either, but the poor girl has problems. I don't think she had the correct parenting growing up and she was mentally too young to become a mother. All she has known since the mickey mouse club is stardom but she has never known how to handle it. Your right, she does need help and for everyone to leave her alone. I think it began as a outward cry, now I just don't know. I almost feel that if everyone left her alone, she would have withdrawls from it. She really does need to be commited, for a long period of time. She needs a better family as well. She is not fit to take care of her kids right now, but she does need to be allowed to see them once she is stable. Completely taking them away will only make things worse. Poor girl.

First you judge her because you thought she was a rich snob, now you pity her cause you think she's really sick. I bet while your in line at 7 eleven stuffing ho-ho's down your throat whole while your lil brats are running around the store? you to busy your self reading up on her latest fupau...so yes, what's happening to her is sad, but it makes pepole feel like their not that bad off ......

I'm one of her fans even though she is young to be my daughter.I like her songs but when she did her messy life I said to myself that she is the one to blame herself.But then again she is young surrounded with the people who are trying to take advantaged with her.In her type of job plenty of temptation I know she is so spoiled girl but she is now in big trouble I hope her parents, family,will help her.Britney Spears need a professional help after I seen in the news wish her all the best this 2008.

i never thought she was just spoiled, and she wasn't like this till she got with federline, who is really enjoying life living off here money, and i don't mean just child support. what the media is doing is shameful, and i feel adding to her demise.
