Has anyone used disposable cameras at their wedding?

My fiancee and I were originally going to get married at city hall but due to protests from our families, we are now having a traditional wedding. Im thinking of hiring a professional photographer to take photos of the ceremony and having disposables on the tables for the reception. Has anyone used disposables at their wedding? How did the photos come out?

I'm not concerned with any photos being un-useable since Eckerd accepts any pictures you don't want (I used to work in the photo department there) so you only pay for the ones you keep.

I have...
Disposable cameras can be a great Way to get some cool candid shot that may be missed by your photographer. But, these cameras should not replace the photographer. Keep in mind that sometimes, especially if there's lots of alcoholic beverages flowing, some of the cameras get "misplaced" and you may get a lot of strange photos.
well my friend is getting married in july and she has a photographer and she's getting disposibles for the tables she says that normally u can't take all the pics u want with the photographer. and i think is a great idea.
What we did at our wedding was, at every table we put three disposable cameras so that the guests could take pictures of what ever they wanted. We had the pictures developed, some were bad but there was allot of good pictures that we put in our album.
I think they are a waste of money. Chances are you might get a couple of candid funny shots but for the most part you are going to get dumb pictures of stupid stuff. Plus disposables take crappy pictures, even if its a cool picture the quality wont be great enough to put in your album.
I had a very untraditional wedding and had all my wedding pictures taken by the guests with no professional photographer.

I got amazing pictures from the disposable camera's taken by the guests (as well as some good blackmail pics of inebriated family members).

I found that the disposable camera gave us more candid and true shots of the feeling of the wedding, unlike what a professional would give you. None of the pictures are staged and they give a more natural feeling of the day.

I would highly recommend them and suggest you buy your camera's from www.orientaltrading.com as they have nice cameras and decent prices.

They have a reusable one

or a disposable one

I like the idea. However, be prepared to get a picture of the toilet or someone's ***.
