What are some cheaper venues for weddings in the Augusta or Atlanta GA areas? |
I am looking for someplace that has plenty of light and safe surroundings. I really want a place that will work with me when it comes to decor (I already have my own & believe it or not- actually prefer to set up & clean up my self & with family & friends). We'll have (hopefully not more than) 150 people, but really counting on 75- 100. I want my own photographer (some places do include that) & maybe my own caterer, depending on costs & food available. I would prefer not to pay over $1200 (including chairs, tables- & that's about it) but of course will pay more for a venue w/ more to it (up to $2700). We are also going for a beach theme if this helps. Any ideas? Heritage hall is in madison, ga. That is where i am having mine i think. I am still waiting on more info. It is off I-85N about 35-40 miles north of downtown Atlanta. We had a wedding there for my sister but it was about 6 years ago. We had a great experience but I am not sure how they operate these days. Killian Hall might be a place to at least consider. Good luck.
