What is the best digital camera for under $400? |
I want something with image stabilization (I tend to take blurry pictures often, so this is a must) and a good amount of megapixels. I would also like the time between shots to be as minimal as possible. I am mostly interested in using the pictures for scrapbooking and sharing with friends and family. So, I would be taking a variety of pictures: indoor, outdoor, kids on the run, etc. To summarize, I want good quality pictures, taken by a bad photographer. hi , i recomend the Konica minolta dimage z6 it has an anti shake system which works great with the 12x optical zoom ( equivalent to 420mm ) and also works well with the 4x digital zoom, it is a 6 megapixel camera and offers semi pro functions aswell as automatic it also does video and sound, , i bought this camera a few weeks ago and totally recomend it for begginers and intermediate users and the quality of your photos is great especailly with the anti shake system fujifilm Canon A620 for 200 http://www.dcresource.com/reviews/camera... One thing you should keep in mind: if you are going to use your photos only for sharing with friends and printing in normal size, then a camera of 3 MP will do it. As nowadays it is hard to find 3 MP cameras, you dont have to worry about how many MP a camera has. Everyone tends to think that the more MP a camera has, the better it is. And it is not true. In some cases, the less MP, the better image quality (but then it is pro stuff). I reccomend you to HOLD the camera and se how it feels like. Thats the best thing you can do to choose a good camera. Avoid cameras too small and if you want good pictures, you NEED to learn a bit of photography, otherwise your photos will continue beeing blurry (maybe it is only the way you hold it, did you know that? NEVER, EVER hold your camera with only one hand...), not geeting nice colours and stuff like that. |
