Maternity photo shoot? |
To start off, I am in intern for an amazing, free-spirited, and down to earth photographer. Tomorrow morning she was booked a maternity photoshoot, (she specializes in pregnancy-teen/family portraits) and wants me to go at it alone. (She did assure permission from the client.) Anyway, she will not be on sight for help/advice. While I've been with her to many, many photoshoots, and have a few under my belt and with working with her, I am quite nervous about this one. I do know the client, which is a plus. But what are some things I could do to prepare or any ideas? or some interesting props/poses. any advice or help would be nice. For pose and creative lighting/prop ideas, just do a Google image search for maternity portraits and view the work of some other experienced maternity portrait photographers. I have no experience in this department, but I'd like to point you in the direction of some of my favorite photographers and their maternity shoots. Show lots of belly... if she's comfortable with it then photograph her actual skin! |
