A classmate from 1953 and I were friends, but have lost touch. Want to find him again.?

He was a photographer for Ridgewood, NJ paper. Have contacted them but no answer. Class secretary has no address for him. Name is common one so phone books and searches do not work. I really do want to find him. No family now as we are in 70's. May be in NY state or Conn-lots of room to get lost.
