Do you have to have a witness at your wedding in Texas? |
We are getting married in Austin, Texas and since our family and friends live so far away, the only people besides us will be the officiant and photographer. I knew you had to have a witness sign the marriage liscense but I need to know if you have to have one at the actual wedding. the wedding certificate is signed AFTER the ceremony !! and yes a witness has to sign it, in ALL states... it can be signed by the officiant or photographer, just as long as they are of legal age... God bless you need a witness for a wedding anywhere for them to sign the registrar document to actually say you got married.but any one can be a witness complete strangers or the photographer just need some one to say they saw you get married!good luck and congratulations sure Yes! Good Luck and congrats! I live in Texas as well and im going to get married in Dec! Best of luck! Yes, Two Jehoveh's Witnesses. Yes you would have to have a witness at your wedding if any the preacher or justice of the peace. yes sure and u will be bless by god |
