WalMart Photo Dept. Where do I take this complaint to? |
Hey,I went to a dear friends wedding a couple weeks ago, I knew the photographer of the wedding she is a good friend that I have known since I was a little girl, she is not a "professional", she just has a natural talent for taking photos. The photos were done on a digital camera so my photographer friend had them put on a disk so that copies could be made for the family and friends of the wedding party. My sibling took the photo disk into walmart and to make copies on the Kodak machine. The walmart photo guy said that my sibling could not make copies because these photos looked too professional and that they were copyrighted. He stressed that he was in photography and new professional photos when he saw them. Well apperently he knows nada about photography because anyone into photography would know that there would be a signature copyright in the lower righthand corner. At any rate they told my sibling that they needed to get the ... Call Walmart and ask to speak to the store manager and complain. If that does not work, send a complaint to the main office in Bentonville. When ever I have had a complaint against Walmart, I have gone on the internet and emailed their management. Try it. Each time I have gotten a response from them, so they do check things out, or used to. I haven't had anything to complain about lately. |
