Is there any photographer who are autistic? |
Any famous photographer/ or even your family remember who has autism but also like to photograph? Im interested in what they see/ capture through the camera. Please reccomend one, its for my thesis. I seriously doubt it since part of autism is the social introversion and the fact that they generally lack the depth of focus it takes to produce photographs. Generally they have a certain part or subject that they focus on i.e. with children it may be the spinning part of a toy or a push button on a toy. Generally it's not the whole toy. With adults it may be something like a fascination with the weather channel or train schedule or some other oddity. There are Higher functioning cases of autism but I'm still not sure about an ability to photograph |
