Famous photographer??

a while ago i came across a photographer that took pictures of misfits and loners. ive been searching the internet for days but i cant seem to find that photographer again. does anyone have an idea of who im talking about??

You might have luck searching on documentary photography.

Look through the work of the well-known documentary photographers there. Steve McCurry is very well known for his famous photo "Afghan Girl" for National Geographic.

I am a 'famous' photographer who is a misfit and a freak! Just search for me by name on the internet and you will find hundreds of links to my photography. I am sickened by photographers touting where they are published and in what museums they are in. That is all about who you know.
I searched for Arbus on http://images.search.yahoo.com/ and she did freak portraits that I would never have wasted time doing. Search for me there and see art done by a true misfit.
