Famous photographers and designers?

So I was just wondering if anyone could list any famous photographers and fashion designers that are popular.

I'm interested in a career in fashion as it's something I love, but I don't know much history or famous photographers or designers. I was watching 'The Hills' and the girl went for an interview for a career with a fashion magazine and it's very likely that they will ask about personal opinions on designers/photographers.

I'm 15 and know most magazines don't take interns under 18. So if you could name a few or tell me sites to help me i'd appreciate it. I just really want to begin research so I don't seem completely stupid when the time comes.

check out your favorite magazines and see who the photographers are. You may want to look at Walter Ioose work for Sports Illustrated - he photographs the swimsuit issue. He just came out with a new book on his most amazing shots for SI. He also runs a website called sportsshooter.com- which although isn't for fashion design, but the membership consists of the most amazing photographers around the world.

british designers are like the next big thing so name drop a few of them like christopher kane,henry holland (aygness deyn is his muse),gareth pugh,giles deacon ec.

but basically just look on vogue and try to remeember the designers there
