I still don't know what kind of career i want and ima junior in high school! i have some careers in mind but.. |
i want to know what kind of calsses i should take in college i want to be either a photographer but the kind that take pics of celebs for their albums or the kind that take pics of models like the ones in america's next top model or a director the kind that make movies with famous ppl or make commercials with actual ppl i just want a job that pays well and that is constent sorry about my spelling errors incase u find any oh and i want to know about schools in california ****thanks in advanced im a junior in high school too and i dont really know what i want to do but most freshmen in college dont have a major in plan they just take classes of things they like .dont worry about it just yet. i have a 4.0 and involved in school so i do care about school but im not stressing just yet cause i know what i like as far classes go and it seems that so do you so dont stress and enjoy your summer right now =] Or you could just be a garbage (wo)man. That would be cool. Um take journalism(photos) that would be a good one um tecnoligy I can't spell very well sorry stuff like that would be good to take maybe even stuff like bussiness directing would be good to sorry I don't know to much I am only in grade 8 well grade 9 this comming year I don't want to rain on your parade, but here are the facts: If you are looking for a career in celebirty photography (papparazzi) or as a movie director, you are not looking at the right career if you want continuity of employment and high pay. There is only a very small fraction of people who are able to do the job long-term and get paid well for it (Less than 1%). Many of the celebrity photographers are paid piece-work, that is, only for the photos that are published. Directors are typically employed from contract to contract, so there can be long droughts of unemployment between. That being said, if you want to pursue a career in professional photography, take art and photography classes at college. Visit some college websites and look at the programs they offer to see what courses you may need. The same thing goes for directing. Many directors are actors for a long time before they start directing shows. You may want to interview a few people, if possible, to determine if this is something you want to pursue as a career. |
