Im interested in being a fashion photographer,?

two things:

one, how to get started at 14.

two, i know this is just one picture that my friend accidentally desaturated, but is it good?
i am planning on uploading the rest later. i will show you them if you're interested.

Your friend must have accidentally overwritten your original file ... you cannot accidentally desaturated an image file. There are too many steps to get to that point to do anything accidentally to a file.

To get ready to become a fashion photographer or any other takes some education. You need to know how to photograph anything, anywhere, under any lighting conditions, using any camera. Once you can do that, you can start building a book that shows your excellence when shooting fashion

I agree with the above statement BUT an education does not have to be formal (many times a formal or university training does not include field work which is what is MOST important)- your education can stem from an apprenticeship with someone who has been in the field. Get out there - get studying. And since you're so young you have so much time to learn! Its great that you are starting now.

Also - it is a good idea to look at fashion magazines for composition and ideas. Sketch and keep a journal of all the ideas that come into your mind - you may think they are silly right now or not work writing but trust me, they will only help you expand. Also keep a cheap digital camera with you - take pictures of anything in effort to self teach composition.
