Does anyone know of any good artists? |
I need to research 2 artists for my GCSE Art Coursework, but don't know where to start. I don't like modern block colour or pop art. I love intricate flowery designs and vintagey stuff with good lighting. I'm also interested in fashion too. Does anyone know of any artists or photographers I could research? Joseph Turner The Fighting Temeraire. I'm sorry you don't like modern block color or pop. Research Paula Rego. Looking at her paintings is nourishing and good for you. My immediate answer would be Georgia O'Keefe, because she does sort of zoomed in images of flowers, in which she sketches and paints. The work she does is always bright with a lot of light. There are other artists aswell as Geogia O'Keefe at: For lighting...research the artist Vermeer. He was the artist of good light. How about Gustav Klimt? I would say his stuff includes intricate flowery bits. |
