Confused about modelling??

I was asked to model for Diesel modelling and they have asked me to go for a fashion shoot at the blue rooms in London, i really don't know whether or not this is genuine?? has anyone else heard or come across this? they haven't asked for any payments only saying I'll have my own hairdresser, make-up artist, stylist and photographer and they will be paying for that. I don't know whether to go or not?

Many agencies scout ppl on the street.. that's how claudia schiffer was discovered (in a nightclub actually, but same principle). Were the ppl who approached you Diesel reps or from a model agency? Did they prove to you that they work for Diesel? If an agency, google them and check out their website and then look for a regulatory body and see if they are approved. I would also find out what "blue rooms" is. The main thing you have to watch out for is if they ask you to pay for a protfolio (it should be free).

it's genuine i'd say, my friend actually had to go over from Northern Ireland. They will want you to come in without make up on to see what they are working with and they will do your hair make up etc for you. Diesel modelling is to help girls get into modelling, they will take your pictures and may even give you money if they are good enough to use in one of their shops. The only catch is to start up in modelling you need a portfolio full of pictures to show to the clients, diesel will offer you your pictures but they cost alot of money. But if you want to get into the modelling industry it's well worth it. Hope this helps!

As long as you don't sign anything or hand over money then it seems like you have nothing to lose. However, you should call them and find out exactly what is expected from you - both your obligations for the days as well as any financial issues.

You should def go with an adult/someone older and be prepared to walk away at any point where you feel uncomfortable.

If you really want to go for this then be smart and trust your instincts. But whatever you don don't buy into anything you're not sure about x good luck

yesterday i got reply from the company which i applied for mode-ling. they said must have good personality and good blah blah blah. but now i checked out google and i found out that this is just a sex movies company. then i don't reply them and think that will never apply for mode ling again!

if you are asked to model..you should NEVER pay them! they should be the ones paying you. Unless you if you go to studios and want yourself to have a portfolio done :)

Hmmm, no idea! But if you have the time, and are prepared to be offered an extremely hard sell of the resultant photos, then go!
