Im 18, currently in my last year of studding fashion and Photography, and would really love to move away to another country in a few years, i live in England now.
I love hot weather
I want a more simple relaxed life
Somwhere, where people also speak english
Exotic looking
Any suggestions? I would say Greece.
We went into this quiet English bar on the Greek island of Crete and this woman had like no money when she was in England then rented a place and started a small bar, now she has her own kid and makes alot of money.
Greece is hot, relaxed, VERY exotic and they mostly speak English because its a multicutural langauge.
Property is VERY cheap out there as well.
I would suggest Crete because of the English population there.
Irish bars are a good place to work and theres lots of them about. Try your luck in some of your ex-colonies
Bahamas
Gambia
Sri Lanka
Ireland Well, start by doing some research, talk to people who've travelled to countries you're interested in......find out the good, and more importantly the BAD aspects of the countries you're lookin at
you could think about moving to one of the Caribbean islands (since most speak english) There are so many places in the world to go!
Make sure you have your passport. Don't let
English language stop you from visiting many incredible places.
Costa Rica is marvelous the beaches on the pacific coast are beautiful, and there are many American tourists there, so you wouldn't have a problem (there are tourists all over) the exhange rate here is in your favor.
Japan is very nice, and Thailand very exotic, Chile is amazing, (but no one speaks english much there) I would imagine Greece and Italy would be fabulous places for a photographer. Budapest is a great city.
Have fun, and don't worry about people speaking english, you'll find in Hostels other young people who will speak english. Costa Rica is a great place to start pretty safe (but always watch for pick pocketers no matter where you travel), and very inexpensive!!
have fun! =)
Also tripadvisor.com is a great website to research places to visit and stay. south africa |
