A sensor that turns off the lights in a room that has no activity for 15 minutes. (I think it is inexpesive. If I remember correctly $15)

Mom:
Season of America's Next Top Model on DVD
Cd's
Mp3 Player
Dvd's

1 game
a stuffed animal
the computer game "Vet Emergency"
College Student:
Since they usually dont have alot of money, keep it simple.
Shampoo
Conditoner
Sheets
A Blender
Clothes
Cd's
A Digital Photo Frame to display the photos. Dad: Magazine subscription to favorite environmental magazine as well as a scarf or skull cap for those cold days in the caves.
Mom: A mp3 player with some of her favorite tunes pre-loaded and some nice body lotion
Sis: body lotion and a nice digital camera.
Little Bro: Verify if parents plan to give him some vids to play and make a deal for you to get the some of them as well as a pokemon magazine and card set.
Price depends on how much you can afford... combined the gifts i suggested would set you back about 300 to 400 dollars total. a movie basket for your mom like, new movies, fashion magazines, popcorn you know stuff like a movie, your dad get him a football basket, sports illustrated, a football, little helmets? brother; anything interactive is what it sounds like if he likes animals so much get him something furry, sister, jambajuice, fashion magazines (subscription maybe) a photo album of her when she was little and a few CD's i would for your dad get videos on global warming and on environment stuff
Your mom i would get a cd of what she likes or two cds and a movie or 2 .
For your brother get him a game or 2 for his nintendo ds and a package or 2 of pokemon cards and a calendar for 2008 that has animals on it like dogs and other animals.
For your sister i would get her a gift card to a smoothie place,
for her being a snowboarder i would get her a pair of gloves for snowboarders, and get her a cd or two.
for an organization i would get what ever they need or want, iwould spend nomore than what you think you would spend on gifts and i would go to walmart and a snowboarder shop and best buy For your mom you might want to try lotions some pj's from Victoria Secret. For your little brother depending on his age you might want to get him the new Simpsons game. Your dad might like the documentary by Bob Dole on Global Warming or a nice book of that nature. Your sister and your mom might appreciate some lotions, cute pj's, cd's, mp3, shoes(what girl doesn't love shoes), cute jewelry and accesories(Forever 21 has great accesories online www.forever21.com) or if you want to go all out a nice camera.
Think simple, it's the thought that counts not how expensive the gift is. Have fun shopping and I hope these ideas help:) For your sister with the qualifications in photography it might be worth looking at the Lomography website (http://www.lomography.com/) I have a Holga from them and despite how it is cheap and made of plastic, it really is a beautiful camera and definately holds its own charm; each photo has its own unique result. If you do get her a Holga, I seriously suggest getting the book 'World Through A Plastic Lens'; it will show what the camera is all about and how it can be used to its full potential. However, although it is cheap for a camera it may still be quite an expensive gift, depending on what your general budget is.
For your mother, try and find her tickets to one of her favourite bands/artists shows. Or perhaps a gift certificate for her favourite store and then a few good makeup items.
You could use the same kind of idea for your brother - give him a gift certificate for a local games store and then a few typical 'boy-ish' things, like gadgets and whatnot.
Your dad may appreciate a bottle of decent wine and something to do with boating, and maybe a good book on global warming and the effect it has upon the environment.
I remember last year for my grandparents my family gave them a Christmas hamper... We just got a medium sized woven hamper and filled it with fine typical christmas foods (wine, cheeses, fruit and nut mixes, cakes, biscuits etc). I remember mine loved theirs, however depending on your grandparents this may not be within their taste.
Hope this helped!
Good luck! |
