I was asked by two of my friends to takes some action photos of them. There both athletic and she into the Martial Arts.
Plus they wants some fashion style creative shots in the city too. It just would be one camera and maybe a small tripod. I don't want to be to obvious with the photography because some place get funny about picture taking. I was thinking Santa Monica because I live near Manhattan Beach and Redondo Beach. But I have shot down there many times. Besides near the SM Pier and the Third Street Promenade, does anybody have other suggestions for cool backdrops and locals in Santa Monica, CA for picture taken? There are a million places up PCH, northbound to shoot at without much rubber-neckers.
Some hillsides over-looking the Pacific. Actual beaches, they are off-season, and non-crowded. Some screwy looking beachside homes in Malibu. Topanga Canyon.
Weekdays, is a good time to use PCH and 10 junction area. Unless there is road work.
Etc... Venice Beach! There is always something (or someone) unique that can be used in the background! |
