I am looking for a career in organising parties, weddings or events or anything where I can be creative, help?

I love doing things where I can create good visuals, I am also interested in fashion/make-up, photography, flower arranging or anything where I can be creative. I am open to suggestions.

im a photographer.

weddings are a great source of work. if you offer organisation skills and photography, then youre onto a winner.

i do reporatage, thats 8 or 10 hours on the wedding day... and yes its a long day... but you build a rapport with your clients and get some fantastic images, on average ill shoot maybe 1200 pics over 10 hours... (it used to be 10 rolls of 35mm 36麓s) you start by doing your friends for free... (costs only) and you build a portfolio of work, and word spreads, esp if youre any good. and although its slow to start, its speeds up, esp when you undercut the other players, who麓re just greedy.

ive done this for 30 years, and next years diary is already filling up... and ok, im not rich, but i work regularly. and its one or two jobs a week.

example; 8hrs work, 250 quid, 8hrs at the computer and CD艣 etc 拢200. plus whatever one off prints they want. i regularly make more from reprints than i do actually shooting the day. and as you will realise thats cheap. but i have no overheads. no costs... bar CD艣 at 12p or 50p for a DVD. my cameras cost a fortune, but ive had em for years, and my E series Olympus艣 are the tools of my trade.

good luck.
