Painting on someones skin????? |
i am doing a final piece for art, and its on fashion illustration and photography i thought it would be cool to get some people to volunteer and then i could paint patterns onto them making it quite dramatic and theatrical and then take photographs based in different locations,i thought mayb i could get flesh coloured underwear with fashionable accessories and then paint onto their skin, however someone told me it's not possible to do this, but i've seen it in many magazines and on mtv awards , is there a special type of body paint i would need to use as i would be nearly painting the whole body? where would i get this paint? It would be the same type of paint they use at sporting events whens fans cover themselves in it. No...I've painted my body before with regular paint...it was fun, and all you need to do to take it off just take a nice bath and wash with soap....easy as pie....speaking of pie, I'm going to get some now..... laters!~ HOPE THIS HELPS!~ MOI EXPERIENCE!~ do not use an oil based paint.... that will only come off with paint thinner... You would use a latex based paint has water in the liquid portion whereas oil based has a petroleum liquid portion. there are paints used specifically for body painting, but it is expensive and hard to find. Hope this helps!! http://www.bobvila.com/howto_library/sel... I'm a professional face and body painter and the only paints i will use are by a company called Snazaroo in the uk but if you are in the usa get in touch with the disney/universal theme parks and ask which paints they use, as all of these face body paints, are made to be used on the skin and shouldnt be any adverse reaction as there would be with regular paints |
