Being photojournalist... HELP!!? |
Ok right now i am at a confusing situtation. Well see i am very much a artist and love everything about it, including photography. Also i love fashion so i was wondering if anyone could give me ideas on being a photojourist(whats it like, pay roll good?) also anyother cool job with photography involving fashion. WITH A MUST OF GOOD PAY ROLL!! :-) You'll make a lot of money as a photojournalist if you take pictures of war-ravaged areas and blame it all on America and Republican Presidents. How about a wedding photographer in a wealthy suburb? Food photography is still the realm of only a handful of experienced photographers. Tasty pictures are something that even the most ambitioned amateur will not be able to shoot. If food photography sounds interesting enough for you, give it a try. will propably require several month of learning and professionals will not give away their secrets easily. I was amazed what they do to the "food" to make it look natural, yummy and fresh (e.g. using fake garments, replacing creamy stuff with parafine, spraying everything with clear paint, glucose syrup or silicone, applying tons of coloured latex, using lots of food colour additives already when preparing the food). In front of the lense, food really is like a neurotic diva and you need lots of patience and quite some chemical helpers. Sometimes you even need to add a little silicone. |
