My Career Choice? |
What is the best career choice? Thanks There is a website that you should visit. It is the US Department of Labor Bureau of Labor Statistics. The website is (www.bls.gov), when you get there press A-Z Index, and it will have a list of jobs to choose from. When look up a certain job it will give you alittle heads up of what the job will be like. It will have the nature of work, working conditions, training, other qualifications, job outlook, and estimated earnings of that particular job. I would not go into computers, because there are so many people doing that now, and employers have alot of people to choose from. You should ask yourself what you like to do, and like for example can you type or perform other tasks that can lead you to the job you like. Check out some of the schools that you like ciriculm like community colleges or colleges then go back to this www.bls.gov website and check it out. It will even give you an example what that person does in a day. Anyway have fun and I hope the best for you. I am going to be 35 soon and I am looking into Cancer Information Mangement, and other clerical health careers, and the department of labor says this looks promising. Take care :) |
