Does anyone know of a good photography place that wont cost much? |
i need to take pictures for my cosmotology program at school, and i would like any place other than fashion photo or zoom in zoom out. keep in mind i dont want to spend much(preferably less than 30 dollars) i also live in grand prairie, texas (dallas metroplex). thanks for the help!! Option 1: Go to the grocery store and buy a Kodak disposable camera with a flash. Have a friend take the whole roll of you outside, an hour before sunset. This is called the golden hour as the setting sun really complements skin tones. You still want the flash as it will put a sparkle in your eyes. Option 2: Search the internet for local photo clubs or for the term: TFP, which stands for 鈥淭ime For Prints.鈥?The idea here is that serious amateur photographers will have professional photo setups, and in exchange for you agreeing to model, they will agree to provide you with prints, which they also make copies for themselves for their portfolios. You need to be cautious and apply common sense. My local photo club here in New England actually uses a local high school, where they have 100 photographers, 20 models (and usually their mothers) all in an open room, so there鈥檚 no doubt that everything is above board, and nothing inappropriate will be asked. Getting to know local photographers isn鈥檛 a bad idea if you鈥檙e in cosmetology, as they may end up calling on you to make up professional models. Good luck! |
