Is the specs for this laptop ok for me?? |
I am an Ateneo Communications Graduate student from the Philippines and I am currently taking Film Production, Advertising and Photography units. I cannot decide for myself if the specs of this laptop will be ok for me. I am usually using Adobe Premiere, Photoshop and Flash CS3 for my courses and sometimes Sony Vegas. Do you think this laptop be ok for me if its not please suggest one. I am really on a tight budget and I can only buy a laptop with a price of 70 thousand pesos below. Btw this is my first choice for the laptop: They should be fine, if you are into film you may want to look at a bit bigger hard drive or use and external usb drive for more storage space and maybe a bit more ram would be good for movie editing. For film stuff I would suggest looking at an apple they are heaps better for film and graphics design than any windows computer could ever be no you need a better proccessor an amazing graphics card and lots of memory Hard drive and RAM are alright but you really need to get a better graphics card. Also i would get a bigger screen but that depends on how portable you want the machine to be. its ok except for the graphics card. Santa Rosa is good improvement, but if you can get a better graphic card that will help you especially on the graphic software. Remember the laptop RAM should be able to expended to 4G. It is not critical right now, but it maybe later. This laptop will work for you fine. |
