Best external flash for Nikon D40? |
I'm looking to upgrade my photography experience by adding an external flash to my Nikon D40. Other than specialty gear like the R1C1 ring, there are basically 3 options - SB400/600/800. I started off with the Nikon SB600. You can get it for around 200 bucks if you look around. Not cheap but a good place to start. I'd also recommend getting a diffuser for it. You can pick one up on ebay for about 15 bucks. |
