Opinions and Advice on Cameras?

I plan on getting a camera because i desperatly need one, my other one broke
and my budget is only 200$-300$ MAYBE a little bit more

i'm not looking for a professional photography camera or anything fancy, just a good camera

I'm always at concerts and shows,,, So i want a camera that has a long lasting battery, maybe about 4hours?

Also one that has a good flash, not like other cameras where the flash looks really bad when its on. I need a good flash because its always dark with flashy lights at concerts

It is also very important that it can shoot photos while objects or people are moving,,, its hard to capture a band head-banging or rocking out without it beling blurry

oh yeah and one that can record videos for a decent amount of time

and one that can take pictures fast, not the slow annoying ones

ummmm i hear that cybershots are good?
are they good for my situation?
and which model?
if not, what other camera would u recommend?

THANK YOU SO MUCH

I forgot!
it also should be one that has a good zoom where the pictures wont come out blurry, and hopefully the videos as well

ummmmm just a good camera for a good deal?

Unfortunately, compact cameras are not suitable for low light venues such as concerts.

Their sensors are very noisy (grainy) in dim conditions.

Also the lenses have narrow apertures (especially when zoomed). This causes blur from slow shutter speeds.

To top it all off, small cameras have small flashes, useless beyond a few feet.

With the prices of DSLRs dropping these days, I recommend getting one for your purposes.

Go for a Nikon D40 or equivalent Canon. A good lens would be a 50mm F1.8, which can be had quite cheaply and will make pro-quality images.

HTH.
