What's the best way to take good dance recital pictures without a flash? |
I'd like to take pictures during my daughter's dance recital. The auditorium is very dark but the stage is lit. The girls move quite quickly so I need to stop the action for a clear shot, however, no flash photography is allowed during the show and my pictures either turn out blurry or grainy. Any suggestions for both low light and fast action without a flash? Thanks! sit on the front row Use a digital camera that specifically designed for low light. Sony has quite a few that work very well. You'll need a camera that'll shoot at 1/250 second in very dim light. use a tripod... then set you shutter speed high and you camera openning big too |
