Which is best way to produce prints for original painting, scanning or photography? |
which is best way to produce prints for original painting, scanning (what resolution) or photography (with flash or not)? or is there any other proffesional way? I tried both, the picture seemed a bit distorted with photography. with scanning I loose the shine of metallic paint i use..colours seem mutt too, but it's accurate regarding canvas shape and dimentions..i also ca't scan canvas with larger than A4 size due to limited scanner size.. any suggetsions?! If the pictures where distorted after you photographed them you might have been using the wrong lens or you stood to close. 300dpi is standard for photography and scanning. Jordan I shoot alot of pictures, so I would say digital. It is a beautiful thing in photography. Obviously scanning but one has to use best scanner for that and keep the resolution high for it. |
