What are some good books for photography or sites?

I just bought a Olympus E-410. Wanted to upgrade from a nikkon coolpix L3. I want to learn how to use the flash the right way and learn how to start taking professional pictures. I mostly want to take pictures of landscape and models. I've been looking under Amazon.com. Can anybody give me some advice?

dpchallenge.com look in the forums, you'll learn so much.

and if you want to see some great photos, look at zonezero.com for great ideas.

Also the book "understanding exposure" is one of the best ones I've ever read that helped me learn photography.

masters of photography!

I've been learning stuff from the forums on stock photo sites. I've also been able to sell some of my photographs on these sites. You can get to them from this page: http://istophoto.googlepages.com

good luck!

As a graduate of NYIP I found their course work good at helping me learn.
I saved an old student profile they had of me.

You can see shots there from back in my days before I 'retired' at a young 34.
Not many get to 'retire' at 34 and concentrate on photo art.
I wish I hadn't either.
