What camera do you suggest? |
I recently discovered another interest, photography. I bought a Canon Powershot SD550, and ive been using it to take pictures of small town band gigs at my local venue. But it got me into taking pictures and id like to have a much better camera for my birthday coming up. Ive been looking around and I cant seem to decide. keep in mind im just beggining this. I want one that can take crisp clear pictures, and lens attachements (exp. Fisheye, wide, tele) but idont really want an SLR, it seems complicated, and thats not a feature i want. I have a budget of $350 and less. What would you suggest I buy? Also, where can I find it in the budget? What Im getting at, is what do you suggest id use for these small venue gigs to take pictures in flashing lights and dark? ALSO i want it to be able to record video, with as less sound distortion as possible. This NOT just for concerts鈥?and Id like to shoot pictures and videos for creativity as well. Take pictures of friends and such, maybe scenery, plant etc鈥?wide angle would be nice as well鈥hat do you suggest in your preference? Hey, a really good camera to buy is the Fuji film S6500.. It's great for photography. It is manual focus and the zoom is manual too. Its 6.3 mg pixels and 10.7 zoom. It comes at a great price too. A$500. You can use it for any type of photography and it comes with face detector a new technology for portrait pictures of people.. Like you, i found i had a passion for photography too in febuary, right near my birthday. This camera is definatley a great camera, although you have a budget, there is another option.. the camera below mine.. not sure what it is called but here its A$350, so cheaper if your in america. Good Luck! Hope to hear you decide to buy mine! Source(s): If you want to see some of the pictures i took with it, add me.. katieking2006@hotmail.com my suggestion go to yahoo shopping digital cameras digital camera GUIDE be sure to check titles on the left side the guide should answer your questions Stick with your current Canon Powershot SD550 and when you get the urge to use professional cameras, visit your local professional camera store and "rent" your dream camera for a day or so. Due to changing and improving camera technology, you don't want to be straddled with buying current technology which is subject to continual upgrades. "Renting" is the current strategy of a majority of fashion, product and sports photographers. Image "renting" a Nikon D80 for $35 per day! Good luck! www.samys.com Casio Z75 or Z1050 is a great choice, nice and thin, lightweight, shoots photos and video with sound. Easy to use controls and a 2.5" screen to view. www.besybuy.com www.samys.com (my favorite) ww.costco.com Recommend a Scandisk memory card, about 2GB.
